about

I like to stand, but mostly I end up sitting.

Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?

. . .

AAH!

Oh. Sorry. This is an about page. I better get started.

First, my name is Heather Hoyt. I’m a stay-at-home mom, family historian, photographer, former technical writer, former legal secretary, blogger, college graduate, reader, web designer, and more.

(But some of my best roles are wife, friend, and lifelong learner.)

I’ve lived in Utah my whole life, I’m left-handed, and I love cream cheese.

I live in a college town putting my husband through school, I shoot a bow, and I go hiking and snowshoeing.

And sometimes, in the middle of the night, my alter ego, Bad Heather, wakes up and concocts crazy plans to destroy large cities and take over the world.

But we won’t talk about that.

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can see my profile:

I'm a Mormon. It’s a pretty awesome religion. If you want to find out more, let me know. :)
